Meet our Downtown Director Team:
Gentry Lynch (right in photo) grew up in Richfield, Minnesota and spent time babysitting and surrounding herself with children. She knew at a very young age that she loved working with kids. She took this love of kids with her to her first childcare job at the Edina Cradle Club in 2003. She worked part time with the infants and toddlers until she moved to Colorado for school in 2005. Gentry attended The University of Northern Colorado and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She moved back home and came back to the Cradle Club in 2009 when she accepted a Lead Toddler Teacher position and later a Preschool Teacher role. In 2011 she began serving as our fantastic Assistant Director. Gentry accepted the position as director of the Downtown Center in early 2012. Gentry married her “perfect match,” Ryan, in September 2012. The couple’s infant daughter Avery attends The Cradle Club and will be a big sister soon! Gentry loves working with our staff and families to provide the very best care and education for our little ones!
Amy Steiner (left in photo) came to The Cradle Club in March of 2008. She started in our preschool department and then spent over 6 years teaching in the same classroom. Amy received her AA degree in X-Ray Technology from HTI, but after starting with the Cradle Club, she realized her true passion was to work with children and she found her home in early childhood education! In January of 2015, she was promoted to Assistant Director of our Downtown school. She married her husband, Steve, in August of 2013 and looks forward to having children of their own someday. In her free time, you can usually find her with a mug of coffee, outdoors or taking photos. Amy has a love of people and desire to serve, which makes her a great asset to The Cradle Club team.
