With an extensive background in both early childhood education and philanthropic endeavors, Leihla leads our Edina school with a brain full of knowledge and a heart filled with compassion. Leihla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. She worked her way up from being a float teacher to an assistant director and then served for two years as the director of a childcare school in Minneapolis. There, she worked closely with teen moms and helped them succeed in completing their education and growing in their parenting skills. She loved the challenge of meeting the variety of needs for the children and families under her care. Following her tenure as a director, Leihla took on a new challenge of living and working in Thailand with an organization that rescued children from sex trafficking. Leihla helped the young girls with whom she worked to finish their education and find jobs and alternatives to working in bars. Upon returning to Minnesota, she knew the job she most wanted was to serve again as a center director so she could put her passion for children and families to work. Leihla has a true passion for meeting the needs of little ones and helping them, their teachers, and their families to flourish. She is excited about the opportunity to serve you and yours!

Abby serves in a hybrid role where she is both an outstanding teacher to our infants but also assists the Director Team and fills in for one of them when they need to be out. Abby started with the Cradle Club in November of 2015. She discovered her love for young children when babysitting her niece and nephews over the years. In her time at The Cradle Club, Abby has been a lead teacher in older toddlers and young preschool and now is the lead teacher of Infant 2. In her free time, Abby loves to do crafts, plan parties and do photography. Abby also loves to spend her days with her husband, son JJ, and daughter Evee (who also attends The Cradle Club!)
